What is SeeGeo?
SeeGeo is a free AI-visibility audit tool: it checks whether ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews can crawl, read, and cite your website — then tells you what to fix, in plain language.

Why did we build SeeGeo?
the short versionBecause it worked on us first. At our previous startup we hit a wall every founder knows: the product was good, and growth was stuck.
We hit the wall
Great product, flat curve. Ads were rented attention, and every channel we tried scaled in cost faster than in users.
We went where the answers are
We rebuilt for SEO and the then-brand-new discipline of GEO — applying our AI skills to how engines and assistants actually read, quote, and recommend.
The curve broke upward
One week after the changes landed: 100,000 users. Not rented, not bought — found, by people asking questions we had become the answer to.
What does the audit check?
Six categories, roughly seventeen polite requests, about a minute: crawler access (sixteen search and AI crawlers, checked individually), technical foundation, structured data, content extractability, off-site presence, and entity clarity. Every finding comes with a concrete fix — the report is a to-do list, not a lecture.
Why is the scoring deterministic?
Run the same site twice, get the same score — the audit is rule-based, with no AI in the scoring path. A score you can re-run after a fix and watch move is evidence; one that drifts on its own is noise. Where we do use AI (the "How an AI reads your site" panel), it's labeled and never touches the number.
Who is behind SeeGeo?
A small independent team in San Francisco — the same people who answer info@see-geo.com and do the done-for-you work. Methodology notes live on the blog, crawler research in the crawler library— and when the science is young, we say so.
How do you make money?
The audit is free. We charge for ongoing visibility tracking and for implementing fixes — the done-for-you service ($750/month, capped at 10 clients). No ads, no selling data; the privacy policy spells out exactly what we store.
